— Wire Jewelry Classes —

It's a privilege for me to share the art of jewelry making with other like-minded enthusiasts. Whether teaching wire jewelry classes or doing private lessons in my home, it gives me great joy to witness the ear-to-ear grin on someone's face when they've created their first piece of wire art jewelry.

To witness the evolution of someone's jewelry making skills reminds me of my own growth in this artistic medium. When looking back at photos of my own early wire jewelry creations, I can easily see the progression to where I am today. I like thinking "outside the box" and enjoy helping others learn to rely on their own imagination and creativity and, ultimately, seeing their jewelry begin to reflect their own unique styles.

Have you ever taken a jewelry making class and you can't wait to get home to put your newly learned skills to work? Then....as you stare at that mess of wire and beads, you don't have the foggiest idea what to do with it! Well...to help you survive "information overload" every student in my classes takes home clearly written step-by-step instructions with photos of the projects that we did in class. This helps to jog your memory and enables you to confidently recreate the project at a later date. Many of my class participants tell me this is an invaluable and much appreciated tool!

I currently teach several wire jewelry classes at the Dunedin Fine Art Center in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. To see what some of my students have created take a look at my student gallery. Then check out the class descriptions below. I'd love to seeing you at one — or all — of them!
