My pieces got black while tumbling with steel shot. How can I salvage them
My Argentium silver is now black after I solider them how can I salvage them?

Tumbling does not remove torch residue or firescale as it's sometimes known. It will only polish them up to shiny and dark. Put the soldered AS items in a hot pickle solution to remove any oxides and then rinse with clean water just as you would any other metal after silver soldering before tumbling.
