Where is the location for the classes?

Hi,

I am a bit confused of the class location because the first page says classes in Las Vegas, Nevada, but then the class schedule says Florida. I am looking for classes in Las Vegas. Are those classes in Vegas?

Thank you,
Izabella Nissen

Stacy's Answer:

Hi Izabella!

Sorry about the confusion. I checked my website and cannot find anywhere on my Classes or Class Schedule pages where I mention Las Vegas? At the top of my Class Schedule page I say:

"I teach wire and metal jewelry classes and workshops year 'round at fine venues along Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast. You'll find their contact information right on this page...."

I'm in the Tampa Bay area of Florida where I offer 6-week class sessions and weekend workshops. I list the city (white lettering) of the venue (yellow lettering) where each class is held and the bright pink lettering is a "clickable" link taking you to that venue's site where one can register for classes or workshops.

While I do occasionally teach in other areas, I have not yet taught classes in Las Vegas - perhaps some time! If you ever find yourself in the Tampa Bay Area, please do stop in and say "hi"! You may wish to check with your local Fine Art Centers along with the Community Colleges to see if they offer jewelry-making classes that suit your needs. You may also with to check with the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) for metalsmithing class info in your area.

Jewelry Lessons dot com by wire jewelry artist, Eni Oken, has a wide array of wired jewelry tutorials available in down-loadable PDF form.

Your work is lovely and accomplished. Wish you were closer so I could take a class. I'll be checking for silver smithing classes closer to home, here in New York.
Sincerely
Joanne

New York Jewelry Classes

Thanks Joanne! I'm sure that you'll find what you're looking for. I recommend checking with your local Fine Arts Centers and also the adult ed programs of your community colleges as both venues usually have nice jewelry-making programs.

Hi,

Your work is beautiful!

I too had trouble finding out where you're located.

Perhaps you could add it to your Contact page or put it at the bottom of the Home page.

Thanks,

Barb

Thanks Barb. I thought where my classes were being held was easy to find on my class schedule page, but I guess not. I get asked that question quite a bit. We'll add my location on some other pages to make finding my classes easier.
