Copper Bangle

I created this unique copper bangle using heavy gauge pure copper wire as a core. Copper-dipped porcelain discs and four solid copper round beads will patina beautifully over time. I've made a coiled wire focal using several yards of pure copper wire. I then added a patina to enhance it's richly textured design and gave the entire bracelet a brushed metal finish. The coiled focal measures approximately 5 inches in length by 1/2 inch in diameter.

Besides its beauty, copper is said to have some thereapeutic properties. Many arthritis and joint pain sufferers swear that wearing copper, such as in a bracelet, helps lessen their pain and provides relief from rheumatism, arthritis and stress.

I've finished this simple yet elegant bracelet with my own handmade hammered wiredoodle clasp Ñ also of copper Ñ further enhancing its unique handcrafted look. As is, the copper bangle will fit up to a 6-3/4 inch wrist but is adjustable.
