In this fun half-day workshop you'll learn how to make a spring-based pin with a catch, and then add a variety of wiredoodles, beads, pearls or charms to fashion a wonderful scarf or lapel pin. You'll then "age" your jewelry in liver-of-sulfer and polish it to a brilliant shine! These pins are wonderful accessories and they make terrific gifts as well!
Recommended tools to bring to the workshop:
Some tools will be available to borrow; however, I highly recommend bringing your own tools if you have them. I typically have quality tools available for purchase.
Copper wire for learning and practicing and liver-of-sulfur for adding a patina will be provided for you in the class at no charge. Your workshop fee includes a complete written take-home tutorial with photos.
Assorted beads will be available for purchase. However, please feel free to bring your own.
Basic wire working skills recommended but all skill levels are welcome.
