Fossil Shell Bracelet

A beautiful agatized ammonite fossil shell (circa about 400 million years ago) viewed in section and polished, is the focal for this handmade bracelet. I've drilled a hole through the fossil and added caps and a rivet of Sterling silver.

Pearls create an interesting complement to the ancient ammonite along with lampwork and genuine amethyst beads. My box-style clasp also features an amethyst gemstone cabochon.

Created in all Sterling silver, the bracelet measures 8 inches in length and will fit a 6-1/2 to 6-3/4 inch wrist comfortably. The length can be adjusted up or down. The fossil ammonite measures 1-3/8 x 1-1/8 inches.
