▪ Beyond Basic Soldering ▪

If you've been wanting to improve your soldering skills, this 2-day workshop is for you. Understanding soldering requires lots of practice. How do you know what solder to use? Where do you place the flame? What size tip do you use? When is hot, hot enough? Are you getting solder blobs on your work? Do you find solder pallions in the pickle pot? Does your solder not flow? Are you reticulating metal when you didn't mean to? Do your solder pallions blow off, move or disappear while you're attempting to solder them?

While you may sometimes feel that solder exists just to make your life more miserable, there are answers and solutions. We'll go over different soldering techniques and when to use them. You'll learn when and how to use heat sinks, how to draw solder and keep the solder where you put it. The focus of this workshop is technique and improving your confidence with the torch. Learn to trouble shoot common soldering issues in a relaxed and supportive environment
