Mixed Wire and Lampwork Necklace

I had a very hard time deciding not to keep this very cool lampwork necklace for myself......I love it! The wonderful lampwork beads by the talented glass artisan Stephanie Arner have a very safari feel to them. They're big bold beads and they needed a bold and wild necklace to show them off!

I've coiled, twisted and hammered different gauges of Sterling silver wires to create this head-turning piece of wearable art. I've added just a touch of copper for additional visual impact. The large Thai Hill Tribe silver discs have a slightly rustic feel, making them just perfect with this piece.

I've given the large hanging focal a gentle patina and then polished it to a brilliant shine to really make its different textures pop!

I've finished the necklace with my own handmade Sterling silver clasp and chain links.
