Garden Whimsy

This is just a FUN FUN FUN lampwork necklace. I set out to create a happy, lighthearted piece of jewelry to chase off the late summer doldrums. If you're finding yourself a little blue...well, this necklace is sure to bring a smile to your face! I created something similar for a friend who needed some cheering up. I thought a party around her neck would be just the cure!

I've combined the talents of several glass artisans, including Kelly Dunagan and Yee, in creating this necklace. The bright lampwork beads in shades of lime green, yellow-orange and red, contribute to its one-of-a kind whimsical feel.

I've created a fun focal using yards and yards of Sterling silver wire. Thai Hill Tribe silver garden creatures are perfect for this necklace's fun outdoor, carefree feel. A patina highlights all the wonderful textures of the wirework.

Measuring 22 inches this very cool lampwork necklace is adjustable either longer or shorter to suit your needs.
