half day workshop you'll learn to make your own clasps, spiral
hooks, jump rings, toggles, numerous links and basic
earwires out of various gauges of copper and Sterling silver wire, all
without the use of soldering or torching. Not only will you save money,
but the skills you learn here will enable you to add your own unique
stamp to the jewelry you create!
Recommended
tools to bring to
the workshop:
- Ball
pein or chasing hammer
- Mandrels
of different sizes (knitting needles and round writing pens work well
for this)
- Sharpie®
or other indelible pen
Your
workshop fee
includes a complete written tutorial with
photos.
A $10 MATERIALS FEE
includes all necessary gauges of copper wire and 2 feet of 20 gauge
Sterling silver wire for earring backs.
Please feel free to
bring additional Sterling silver wire and your own beads.
Basic
wire working skills recommended but all skill
levels are welcome.
